Esquire Network

As Vice President, Development for Esquire Network, Laura Civiello oversees development and production of the network’s original series. In her role, she works with producers, production companies, agencies and distributors to develop programming for all dayparts and genres including reality, formats, competition and docu-series. She also oversees the team responsible for shepherding programs through the development process, from idea conception through production to air.

Civiello was instrumental in shaping the former G4 brand through the launch of such series as “American Ninja Warrior” and “Ninja Warrior,” “Proving Ground,” “Jump City: Seattle,” “It’s Effin’ Science,” “2 Months 2 Million” and “Human Wrecking Balls.” During her tenure, she also developed “Bomb Patrol: Afghanistan,” which was nominated for a 2012 International Documentary Association award. She joined G4 in 2004, when Comcast purchased TechTV, where she had been the Vice President of Acquisitions and Development. While in that position, she launched more than 350 hours of programming and created several new programming strands.

With more than 24 years of cable programming and production experience, Civiello has developed, launched and produced Emmy® Award-winning programming for TechTV predecessor ZDTV, as well as for HGTV, MSNBC, Discovery Channel, A&E and national syndication.

Civiello graduated with honors from Cornell University with a B.A. in History.
