Ed Simpson is senior vice president, business development & international at Leftfield Entertainment, an ITV Studios company. LFE’s production companies include flagship Leftfield Pictures (Pawn Stars), as well as Sirens Media (Real Housewives of New Jersey), Loud TV (Tiny House Nation), Outpost Entertainment (History’s Forged in Fire) and Riot Creative.

Simpson oversees all business development, corporate strategy and international across the Leftfield Entertainment group. He also is charged with spearheading branded entertainment initiatives, monetizing existing rights, establishing new revenue streams and developing third-party relationships and co-productions.

Current Leftfield Entertainment shows include 2009’s breakout hit Pawn Stars, which delivered record ratings for History and spawned the “hidden treasures” genre of programming. Pawn Stars spinoffs include current series American Restoration and Counting Cars, as well as international formats in the UK, South Africa and Australia. Other hit LFE series include Blood, Sweat and Heels, Real Housewives of New Jersey and Manzo’d with Children (Bravo); Alone and Forged in Fire (History); Tiny House Nation and Tiny House Hunting (FYI); Cutting It: In the ATL (WE tv); Holy & Hungry (Cooking Channel); Lachey’s: Raising the Bar (A&E), as well as the upcoming project Billy the Kid: New Evidence, narrated and executive produced by Kevin Costner (NatGeo), Lost and Found (Discovery Family) and Great American Food Finds (Food). The company has additional series in production and development with networks including Bravo, National Geographic, History, Lifetime, Discovery, VH1, FYI, E!, Animal Planet, HGTV and more.

Before joining Leftfield, Simpson served as showrunner for Left/Right, and as executive producer of development for BBC New York. His previous credits include Wife Swap, Nanny 911, Faking It, Top of the Pops, Holiday Showdown and Why Am I Still Single?!
