Elizabeth Hendricks North

President

CuriosityStream

Elizabeth Hendricks North oversees all strategy and operations for CuriosityStream as president of the world’s first streaming service for factual entertainment. Working with experienced content producers and multi-platform developers, North aims to establish CuriosityStream as the premiere online destination for nonfiction content.

North serves as president of the parent company, Curiosity Project, which encompasses CuriosityStream, Curiosity Studios and Curiosity Retreats. The unifying theme for all of the Curiosity Project businesses is inspiring thought and satisfying curiosity in a lifelong quest for learning. North has been a speaker at key industry events, including MIPTV, STREAM and CFX Live.

Prior to Curiosity Project, North served as Trustee of the John and Maureen Hendricks Charitable Foundation, a non-profit organization that has contributed over $30 million to a wide variety of causes, from basic social services to science research.

North is a graduate of Princeton University and resides in Bethesda, Maryland. Her current favorite nonfiction program is COSMOS: A SPACETIME ODYSSEY, and she is an avid reader and writer of fiction.
