As Controller of Factual at ITV, Jo’s commissions include BAFTA award winning Long Lost Family; Paul O’Grady for the Love of Dogs; Inside Death Row/The Mafia with Trevor McDonald; HMP Aylesbury; Our Queen; 56 Up; Billy Connolly’s Route 66; Joanna Lumley’s Nile and the arts strand Perspectives.

Prior to joining ITV, Jo was the Head of Commissioning for UKTV’s 10 channels having been Head of Independent Commissioning at the BBC, where she commissioned Masterchef, the Hairy Bikers and Grumpy Old Men amongst many others. She directed the series Making Babies with Robert Winston and the Store and Selfridges for BBC1 and made many single films for the award winning strand 40 Minutes and Inside Story. Jo sits on the Board of the Grierson Trust.
