Tom is the head of commissioning for Natural History & Specialist Factual Formats at the BBC. He oversees over 200 hours of output across BBC ONE, TWO and FOUR. As well as overseeing returning live shows such as Springwatch and Stargazing Live his recent credits include Life Story, The Truth About… strand, Pets: Wild At Heart, Scrappers on BBC ONE; An Hour To Save Your Life, Trust Me I’m A Doctor, Six Puppies & Us, Billionaire’s Paradise: Inside Necker Island and Inside The Factory for BBC TWO. He is also the commissioning editor on the low wage economy series The Factory and was the commissioning editor in documentaries behind Nick & Margaret: We All Pay Your Benefits and Nick & Margaret: Too Many Immigrants.
