Ruben Figueirido Villen

Journalist

Catholic University of Valencia

Rubén Figueirido was born in Valencia, Spain, and from a young age he knew that he wanted to devote himself to the world of television. With a masters degree in Audio-visual Communication, he spent the following 15 years in various roles within the Spanish television industry including scriptwriter, coordinator, editor and reporter.

Rubén currently works as an instructor in the Communication department at the Catholic University of Valencia teaching Audio-visual Narrative for the Degree in Multimedia.

Not wanting to step away from the industry entirely, Rubén tests his television creating skills by continuing to design television formats.
