Helen Hawken is Director of Programming, Factual, for Discovery Networks International (DNI), a division of Discovery Communications, the #1 pay-TV programmer in the world.  In this role, she is responsible for developing and executive producing some of DNI’s most successful factual and specialist factual programming for local and international markets.

In addition, Hawken is Commissioner for Animal Content for DNI, working with producers to create returnable series that broadcast in over 220 countries and territories around the globe, often including the US.
