Heaney launched his own content distribution business, TCB Media Rights at the end of 2012. With an emphasis on the ability to secure strong pre sales and co create shows with high revenue potential, he initially has specialised in the genres of factual, factual entertainment and formats. Heaney and his 8 strong team are working with some of the most highly regarded production companies in the business, eg Arrow Media, CJZ,Icon Films, WAG tv, Like A Shot Entertainment and Channel Seven Productions to name a few.

Strong co production and pre sales relationships in the US, UK, Germany, Italy and Australia have helped these producers realise their programme making plans early in the development stage.

In-depth market intelligence and insider knowledge of what the global content market wants, where and how are vital assets for producers in the development and ideas-creation process.

Heaney had previously been President and MD of Cineflix Rights which he started in 2002, building the business up year on year with double or treble digit growth each year.
