As Commissioning Editor, NGCI, Ed Sayer develops, commissions and executive produces series and specials for National Geographic Channels International. Working with producers and broadcasters from around the world, he has been responsible for overseeing some of the network’s top rating shows including Science of Stupid, Ultimate Airport Dubai and Get Rich or Die Mining, amongst others.

Previously Sayer served as Executive Producer for ITV Studio’s Factual Department, overseeing a large swathe of output. With 17 years of experience in the television industry, Sayer has also worked for BBC Scotland and BBC Factual Entertainment as Head of Entertainment Development and Development Executive, respectively.
