Passion Distribution

As Head of Acquisitions at Passion Distribution, Sean Wheatley spearheads the company’s content acquisition activity, working closely with Passion Distribution’s production partners - both with independent producers and the Tinopolis group companies. Since joining the company in June 2018 Sean has acquired a range of high-quality unscripted titles from production companies and channel groups in Europe and North America.

Sean previously worked at Fremantle where he held the role of Senior Acquisitions Manager. During his tenure, he expanded Fremantle’s factual and lifestyle slate, striking deals with a number of independent producers and content owners. Prior to Fremantle, Sean was Acquisitions Manager at Sky Vision acquiring specialist factual content. Prior to moving into international distribution, Sean held various producing roles at independent production companies.
